ticky boxes would make this better

Fannish writing status update is a go! I posted a Lando/Leia thing recently, and also a tiniest CJ/Toby meme response ficlet and a tiniest Han/Leia meme response ficlet. And I am currently working on:

x. the OG Star Wars OT3 rpf thing that I will probably not post under my own name because seriously I am way too afraid of people linking that shit to twitter or some other bullshit nonsense [this has no due date, per se, which is why it is the one I was puttering with last night];

x. the Yuletide thing that I have an idea for, but need to research and also write but basically my brain keeps telling me to research like my congresspeople and how to talk on the phone without just saying “uh, well” the entire time instead of 1980s lesbian bars [this is obviously due on December 18 and I absolutely have to be actually writing it by the time Thanksgiving weekend is over, which means research now!]; and

x. the one in which Bernie and Serena end up with an accidental and absolutely pants telepathic bond that in now way helps them figure out things like healthy communications (*cough*Bernie*cough*) or getting back together properly but does in fact reveal the secrets of Serena’s shopping list [I’ll either power through this and get it done before November 22 or I will just be like “ooh, shiny canon angst and/or kisses and/or airport wine, yum” and never finish it].

Tags:dw, writing, words are hard, fandom is fandom, holby city, yuletide, also the one with the wars and the stars and the conflation of reality and fiction, berena, and links to stories i actually finished, because why not, p.s. airport wine

I skipped last week because I went to NJ for the weekend to meet a small new person and celebrate my eldest nephew’s fifth birthday and all in all I did not write a lick at all. And now I’m a day late, and an entire $2.00 short, but so say we all. Or something.

Things I actually worked on this week!:

ST:VOY, Janeway/Tuvok, Tuvok/T'Pel poly v queer families edition (that involves Janeway/Tuvok/holographic!T'Pol on Voyager). Starting at the end of their time on Voyager (read: season 7, sort of to the left of actual canon season 7) but carries over after they get back to Earth, and Janeway tries to be self-sacrificing but T'Pel won’t have any of it and they all live happily ever after (even when they’re all in different places) (which happens). I added a whole 180 words to this–

–and then I started thinking way to much about Tal Celes and what she might do after Voyager returns home, and what if she and Janeway met up at a reunion or on a transport or at a wedding or something and, I mean, Celes isn’t even in Starfleet anymore, okay? Janeway’s not her commanding officer. And Celes totally thought Janeway and Chakotay or maybe Janeway and Seven would, but no, everyone knows Chakotay and Seven ended up getting together, which, ouch. And, look, Celes might’ve sort of had a thing for Janeway on Voyager–who didn’t?–and they hook up somewhere awkward and semi-public and it’s going to be a one time deal only they see each other at the next Voyager wedding and well, why not?

Things that I haven’t added any words to this week, but are still slowly in progress, no really, I promise!:

SW, Leia/Lando after The Force Awakens, in a universe where they had a on-again off-again threesome situation with Han basically forever. Lando shows up after Han dies. They drink the last of the Corellian Ale and Leia fucks Lando like Han liked to be fucked.

Also I still need to finish the Carrie/Harrison/Mark thing of sex, drugs, and tying Harrison up that is probably the closest to finished of any of these.

Things I haven’t started, but am contemplating writing someday (and have spent too much time thinking about considering the fact that I am working on other stuff):

MC, Brenda/Sharon set sort of post-Hindsight, where Sharon finally gets her promotion but because LAPD policy is that you have to move to another department with a promotion she ends up back in professional standards, leading the whole thing up. Brenda’s back in LA doing something or other, and Sharon runs into her somewhere. They start doing things together, Sharon and Andy don’t work out, Brenda and Sharon end up together. Rusty works on his vlog in the background.

ST:VOY, Post-Endgame Janeway/Nechayev where they both have to deal with bucket loads of post-war politics and trauma and emotional wariness and it’s all very two steps forward twenty steps back and it’s all about working long hours and having sex and having an ally until it’s suddenly a relationship and neither of them really knows how that happened at all.

Original 1920s marriage of convenience queer romance w/older rich woman & younger genderqueer musician living publicly as a man set in New Orleans. Theoretically this would be a romance novel type thing. I am still in the research and character planning stages (I have a very exciting book about prices in that era! for certain definitions of exciting!).

[state of the fandom]

1. Your main fandom of the year?

Hm. Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries? By which I mean that I wrote an entire story in this fandom and have another one in the works (no, really! it's been in the works for months and months, but I've added words to it over the past week so it counts!), so that is way more than anything that is not Yuletide.

2. Your favourite film watched this year?

Okay, so it's probably a tie between Magic Mike XXL, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, both of which I love and which hit me just right but in completely different ways. But Mad Max: Fury Road and Spy are right there too, so. (And there are still movies from this year that I think I'll love that I haven't seen! 2015 was good for me, film-wise!)

3. Your favourite book read this year?

Zen Cho's Sorcerer to the Crown. And the Jem and the Holograms comic.

4. Your favourite TV show of the year?

This is hard, but I think it's UnREAL over any number of strong contenders. [eta: someone just mentioned Healer, which was just beamed directly into my id in so many ways and was a favorite of a different type. okay. no more edits.]

5. Your favourite online fandom community of the year?

My fannish twitter feed, I guess. I don't know. It's definitely where I've been most active. I finally started a fannish tumblr, but I haven't figured out actual interaction over there.

6. Your best new fandom discovery of the year?

Hamilton. Hamilton forever and ever.

7. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?

Leaving out the NHL showing us all its ass--which, ugh, my hockey fandom has honestly dwindled quite a bit, and is mostly focused on the women of the CWHL and NWHL--it'd have to be the fact that there are only three Rayna Boyanov/Susan Cooper stories on AO3, and they're all from this Yuletide (and one isn't even purely Rayna/Susan). Also Maggie Steifvater managed to ruin my enjoyment of the Raven Boys books pretty much by being herself.

8. Your TV boyfriend of the year??

I really wanted to cheat and substitute "fandom" for "TV" so I could go with Lafayette as played by Daveed Diggs, but instead I will just mention that. Because yes. But, hmm, TV boyfriend would have to be Jack Robinson of really wanting to bang Phryne Fisher fame.

9. Your TV girlfriend of the year?

Maaaaaaac. By which I of course mean Elizabeth MacMillan of probably already banged Phryne Fisher at some point in their past fame. (Other contenders were Cat Grant, Caroline McKenzie-Dawson, and Quinn King, all of whom would probably be far worse at the girlfriend thing than Mac--at least for me!--though that doesn't stop me from loving them. At. All.)

10. Your biggest squee moment of the year?

Seeing Hamilton.

11. The most missed of your old fandoms?

I am suddenly feeling a call to Star Trek: Voyager, and I was never even particularly active in that fandom the first time around. I think mostly I miss the Bordy--an old multifandom mailing list from mumblety-mumblety years ago and one of my favorite fannish experiences.

12. The fandom you haven’t tried yet, but want to?

Does Star Wars count? It's never been a fandom-fandom for me, just a well-loved universe, and suddenly I just want so much fic (of course, what I want is Leia and Han and pain and yeah, not the beautiful young OT3 stuff that is probably glorious and yet).

13. Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?

Oh god, The X-Files. It is going to disappoint the hell out of me I am sure, and yet. SCULLY.

[the stars are full of wars]

I've been watching The Closer, and I just really love Brenda and her professional competence and her utter mess of a personal life and she's such a mess of a person and she likes cats and she's cruel and terrible and determined and wonderful and loyal and lovely and yes. (I've seen a weird combination of early and late The Closer and a bunch of Major Crimes, so of course I'm there for Brenda/Sharon and Sharon/Andrea and mostly I just spend a lot of time adoring Julio and wanting to hug Julio a bunch.)

I'm also watching and loving Supergirl. I keep telling Kara and Cat they need to bang. No, you're going through a femslash renaissance (we're really not going to discuss my slide back into wanting to write Janeway/Seven, and we're really really not going to discuss how I actually want to write Janeway/Seven, Janeway/Chakotay, Chakotay/Seven with service kink and power dynamics and cyborg parts and nope we're not going there right now).

But, mostly, I am obsessively thinking about Star Wars. STAR WARS, y'all. Putting this behind a cut because The Force Awakens spoilers will be involved.Collapse ) Oh, and I've started watching The Clone Wars because I suddenly need to inhale everything about this universe in as little time as possible. Give it all to me; I want more.

Yuletide archive opens in T-minus how many hours now, and tonight we're rewatching Return of the Jedi.

[dear writer of yuletide]

Hi, Hello, Hey. First of all--thank you. You offered to write one of my fandoms, so you're obviously a perfect paragon of humanity and all that jazz. I'll open this with generals likes and dislikes, I'm sure you know the drill, and then put fandom-specific stuff under a cut. If you already have an idea about how you want to write about the fandom we matched on--wow, I'm jealous! tell me your secrets!--just skip over the fandom stuff and go forth with your bad self.

Things I like include, but are in no way limited to: fun with POV, fun with linear vs. non-linear storytelling, fun with tone, fun with writing. I really dig character studies, stories that really get into what makes a character tick (and something porny that can get at that is wonderful too), and I like relationships that are hard and prickly and worth fighting for. I like happy endings that don't feel tacked on or forced. I like doubt, and hope, and theology; I like actors, and directors, and I like the random deity. I like fairy tales. I like interesting turns of phrase, I like the perfect line, I like any story written just for me. If you have any questions about my taste (or lack thereof), feel free to ask tangleofthorns, who probably knows my fannish tastes better than I do. (My fannish tumblr is [tumblr.com profile] ylizam, but it's mostly just me reblogging things I think are pretty.)

Things that I would prefer you not include--especially gratuitously; there are obviously ways to engage with problematic actions/thoughts/etc. in fiction, but there is a very fine line there--are as follows: noncon, necrophilia, pedophilia, incest, non-character driven racism/sexism/[all]isms. I also have a pretty big embarrassment squick (I mean, I watched some of The Office, but not comfortably--and often a single episode took more than one sitting for me to work through). A/B/O doesn't do anything for me. And I'm not really interested in AUs for any of these fandoms: canon divergence is fine, but not-related-to-canon alternate universes really aren't my bag.

That's basically it. I like character names to be spelled correctly. Also other words. But, again, not deal breakers per se, and typos happen and slip through the cracks and we're all just fine on the other side.

And now onto the more specific requests. Remember: these are in no way required, and I include them mostly to give you an idea of where I am, what I've been thinking about, in relation to the source material. Do not be afraid of the gen--some of my requests involve couples, and while I personally ship them that does not in any way mean that I'll be unhappy with fic that involves the characters in question interacting in a non-romantic manner.

Everybody Hates Chris, Saving Face, Spy, Magic Mike XXL, UnREAL, Tennis RPFCollapse )

See? Nothing scary to see here, I swear! I hope, at any rate.

I mostly just want to thank you in advance. Thank you! For knowing at least one of the fandoms I've requested, for volunteering to write in it, and for being as kick-ass as I know you must be!

[6-4-3]

Last night was our last game at Fenway for the season; it feels like just yesterday we were freezing in April excitement, the year not yet lost, layers and layers and layers. Ending the season before toques and scarves seems strange, foreign somehow, like autumn should give us a big cold snap just to fare the season farewell. (It was a wonderful last game: Rich Hill's first CGO since 2006, an amazing Mookie Betts catch to end things, the kids exciting and fun. A new Xander Bogaerts t-shirt in my bag and an ice cream cone for the walk home. "I need to think something lasts forever, and it might as well be that state of being that is a game; it might as well be that, in a green field, in the sun.")

Tonight the Mets clinched a playoff spot, which is magical and lovely and. [personal profile] luna's 1986 t-shirt (see through and ripped, well loved) will get some use into October. (My only Mets gear is an ill-fitting I Like Ike tee. I used to have a plain blue t-shirt with a tiny orange logo, but I can't find it anywhere. My closet is a mess. My life is.) (I'm not ready for baseball season to end. Dusty cleats and grass stains, chalk lines and a botched call on a foul tip.)

[shadows]

A meme. Taken in this case from [personal profile] musesfool, though seen all over.

So what have you been up to? / Major life changes? Same old same old?

Nothing much new. Same job, same apartment (thank fuck--we were worried since rents, real estate, etc. is going through the roof here), same cats (also thank fuck--Spot had a sarcoma on his back leg, but it's been removed and knock on wood he'll be okay).

What fandom are you in/do you spend most of your time in?

Miss Fisher, probably, by which I mean that it's the most recent fandom I've written in. I don't know--romance novels? baseball? women's hockey? Whatever my twitter feed is talking about?

Where do you hang out online?

Here, twitter: @fulloffictions (locked, but I follow fannish people), tumblr: ylizam (also circling, but that's non-fannish; it's also where I follow from, however, as the fannish tumblr is a secondary blog). Mostly twitter.

What are you reading?

Jem and the Holograms (the comic, which is delightful and charming). The most recent Toby Daye in anticipation of A Red-Rose Chain (which comes out on Tuesday already, and wow time keeps speeding up). Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries. Assorted romance novels (KJ Charles, Tessa Dare, Courtney Milan, and Rose Lerner recently--some rereads, some new, etc.). I've been in a bit of a comfort reading mood lately.

What are you watching?

Other than Miss Fisher (repeatedly)? Black Sails, baseball (the Red Sox are a mess, but a weirdly fun mess: Papi's quest for 500 dingers, Xander Bogaerts, Mookie Betts, Blake Swihart, Jackie Bradley Jr., Eduardo Rodriguez, etc.), soccer, Gravity Falls, Jem, GBBO.

What are you making?

Not much, alas. Working on a pretentious Jack(/Rosie) thing set during and after the war, doing research for an original thing (anyone have a beat on good stuff on 1920s New Orleans?), contemplating whether or not to sign up for [community profile] femslashex, looking forward to Yuletide.

What are you squeeing about today?

Hm. The NWHL! Vin Scully coming back for another year! The Mets (my NL team, and the baseball team my mother and I share) (David Wright! that rotation! no, really, that rotation! Juan Uribe! Yoenis Cespedes!) (do not lecture me about liking a team in each league, btw, because I fan how I want)! Jessica Mendoza on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball!

If you could rope old fandom friends into a new fandom, it would be.....

Miss Fisher! Miss Fisher fic for everyone (especially Mac fic--I have no clue who in canon to ship her with, but I want long awesome Mac fic where she has a love life and is awesome and yes)! UnREAL (everyone on this show is terrible in all the best (for me) ways)! Scott & Bailey (I just want all the long epic Julie/Gill in the world)! Which, one of these isn't really new, one is super new, and one is medium new?

I should really watch/read/dive into _______ and then come talk to you about it!

I really need to watch Spy already (I don't have a source for ahems at the moment, so I'm waiting until it's available legally). Also The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which I will not be able to be objective about I bet (I kind of adore the original?), but which twitter tells me is OT3-tastic, which is my jam. Oh, and at some point I'm going to finish watching Legend of Korra. Hmm.

What else is on your mind?

How is it Allston Christmas already? Why are hotels in New Orleans so much more expensive than they were the last time we went? Why are weekends so short? What is sleep?

[stories told over ice cream]

I've been trying to write this post since tangleofthorns and I went to the Red Sox game two Fridays ago--the less said about that and the Red Sox as a whole this season the better--but last week was A. Week., I tell you what, so it's taken longer than anyone ever could've imagined. Anyway, on the long and humid walk home (with ice cream! strawberry rhubarb ftw!) from Fenway, the shame of blowing an 8-1 lead heavy in our hearts, we talked out the Miss Fisher happy!epic we will never actually write.

Warning: this all started because we wanted Jack to say 'Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me.'Collapse )

Oh, and if you're not up to date: there are no specific season 3 spoilers in here, but I'm up to date with the show and can't promise absolutely nothing seeped into this ridiculousness. So fair warning, etc., and all that jazz.

[things, not five]

one. doing vacation planning for next year (related: I always feel the need to justify travel--"this is how I spend my money, I don't have (nor do I want) kids," etc.). hong kong, barcelona, lima, and the uk (belfast, edinburgh, manchester) are the final four. tips, opinions, etc. welcome. we're not allowed to add new locations to the list unless one of the cities currently on there is lifted into the sky by a supervillain.

Two. I stumbled onto all of SeaChange on YouTube, so of course I spent too much time rewatching a show I've already watched (skipping around some, but still). Because that is just the way I roll and all that jazz.

three. world cup! down with fifa, up with women's sport! (no, self, you do not need an abby wambach t-shirt. see above re: spending money on travel. also on cats. and rent and food and stuff, but not t-shirts i can't wear most days because work. though if i actually start training for the 5k this month, i could wear it to run and...)

Four. Most of my reading this week has been John Donne poetry. Yeah.

[words and visuals and sounds]

using the framework of that weekly reading meme thing (with bonus stuff I'm watching) (also, yes, wrong day of the week, whatever, it's a start) to try to kickstart writing here a little more regularly, so--

just finished reading.Collapse )

currently reading.Collapse )

reading next.Collapse )

just finished watching.Collapse )

currently watching.Collapse )

watching next.Collapse )

So that is that. Let's see if I can manage to post again sometime in the next month, the next year, sometime before the annual Yuletide letter--maybe I'll even do this meme again on Wednesday. Maybe I'll finish the Miss Fisher story I keep start-stop-starting. Maybe I'll post before [community profile] everywoman (which I optimistically signed up for in a fit of missing fandom) goes live. Maybe I'll finally give in and interact with fandom on tumblr (I have one, but my sister and mother have both found it, so it's non-fannish). We shall see.

[everywoman]

Hi! Thank you! Sorry for taking so long to get this thing up!

First of all, let me just say that as long as you're writing me something (or making art, in the case of Gravity Falls) about one of these women I love I will love what you give me. You dig?

With that in mind, here are things I like and really do not want in fic:

Yes: happy endings when they're earned. long plotty fic, short pwps, anything in between. polyamory, asexual relationships, sexual relationships, hand holding, casual hookups, serious relationships. experimentations with tense, form, pov, etc.

No: parental death/illness (honestly: I can't deal with it, please don't), noncon, necrophilia, pedophilia, incest, non-character driven racism/sexism/[all]isms, forced happy endings that feel tacked on at the end (I'd honestly rather the sad ending), pregnancy* (and babies and precocious littles, etc.). Also I have a decent sized embarrassment squick--fair warning.

That's basically it. I'm not huge on porn-sans-plot-and/or-character development, but I'll read it. I like character names to be spelled correctly. Also other words. But, again, not deal breakers per se. I tend to be more fond of non-AUs, but if you have an AU in mind that you really want to write I'd much rather you write something YOU love because that seems to out in fic I find. So, basically, you do you.

If you want more information about the individual fandoms I've requested, click hereCollapse ). If you don't, feel free to move forward with the yes/no information in mind and I'm sure whatever you write/draw/etc. will please me to no end. <3 and thank you, darling person!

*unless the character I've requested is actually a mother. In which case go for it when it comes to pregnancy, motherhood, etc., but I'd still prefer no super precious littles.

[a yuletide letter]

Hey, awesome writer person! Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to YOU.

You offered to write in one of my fandoms, and for that you rock like a rocking thing holding a rock and then kicking a rock across the parking lot. Who then rocks out some more to the best music ever made. That's right, Jon Bon Fuckin' Jovi.*

Okay, now that that's out of the way, time to get to the nitty-gritty, as the cool kids call it. (Lies. The cool kids never say "nitty-gritty.") Things I like include, but are in no way limited to: fun with POV, fun with linear vs. non-linear storytelling, fun with tone, fun with writing. I really dig character studies, stories that really get into what makes a character tick, and I like relationships that can't work out as much as I like my happy endings. I like doubt, and hope, and theology; I like actors, and directors, and I like the random deity. I like fairy tales. I like interesting turns of phrase, I like the perfect line, I like any story written just for me. If you have any questions about my taste (or lack thereof), feel free to ask [personal profile] tangleofthorns, who probably knows my fannish tastes better than I do.

I also have a pretty big embarrassment squick (I mean, I've watched The Office, but not comfortably--and often an episode can take more than one sitting for me to work through). I'm also not into AUs in most of these fandoms (the exception being Parks & Rec RPF: details in the fandom-specific section).

That's basically it. I'm not huge on porn-sans-plot-and/or-character development, but I'll read it. I like character names to be spelled correctly. Also other words. But, again, not deal breakers per se.

My request details are in no way required, and I included them mostly to give you an idea of where I am, what I've been thinking about, in relation to the source material. Do not be afraid of the gen. Or the slash. Or the het. I'm good with all three, and I'm way more interested in character development and good writing than, say, Characters X & Y getting it on.

Everybody Hates Chris, Galaxy Quest, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Parks and Recreation RPFCollapse )

See? Nothing scary to see here, I swear! (Except for the part where I basically entirely cribbed entire the non-fandom-specific sections of this letter from last year's letter. And the Bon Jovi reference. Those parts were a little scary, right?)

I mostly just want to thank you in advance. Thank you! For knowing at least one of the fandoms I've requested, for volunteering to write in it, and for being as kick-ass as I know you must be!

*Disclaimer: not actually the best music ever made. Fun to rock out to, though. Whip out the Aqua Net, we're going Jersey style up in here.

[another day, another]

Today's post will be short. I was at work for twelve hours (I am not exempt from overtime, which is nice). I still have a cold. A cough (my poor cubicle neighbor). Home fries are delicious. Gatos make good buddies. On twitter, Dan Haren asked Bryce Harper "you growing your leg hair out for the postseason . I am.” And Bryce Harper said, "werewolf dan..Zito's dream team!"

I still think Jon Lester is the bee's knees. Good night.

[don't call it a comeback]

Yuletide, yuletide, yuletide--or, maybe Yuletide will motivate me to post more often. Or maybe wanting to post more often will. Or maybe something. Life's been life (thanks to those who offered condolences last month, either here or on twitter; I was overwhelmed and unable to respond in many cases, but it meant a lot). Work's been work: it's better when it's challenging, but there have been stretches of brain-in-fog of late. I've been surprised by tears while walking past the dog park, or thinking about movies, or for no reason at all. I've been surprised by joy while sitting at my desk, or looking at the cat, or for no reason whatsoever. I keep start-stopping-starting a creative non-fiction-y thing about my dad, and doesn't creative fiction-y thing just sound twee.

I haven't been able to write much. I start and stall and I haven't been able to force myself through. I've been re-watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries over and over again in between the Epic West Wing Re-Watch of 2014-???? and the return of sad baseball and new Scott & Bailey (<3 <3 <3) and Borgen and waking up to do it all again and counting down to my week off at the end of October. I'm ready for the next Tana French, and the latest only just came out this month.

Here is an excerpt from the story where Phryne, Mac, and Jack end up with an accidental baby while on a road trip. Because tropes.Collapse )

I have a cold. I'm drinking a hot toddy and looking forward to my pumpkin oatmeal in the morning.

[Winnipeg Jets, desperate for points]

So one of my resolutions for 2014 is to, you know, post and comment and just be more "in" fandom--I've missed it, okay, and my life's been sadder for the lack, etc. So! Posting! I still need to post about Yuletide/Hockey Holiday Exchange, and I also want to discuss the fic I want to exist (and may or may not write myself) and maybe even TV/movies/books I have loved lately, but then tangleofthorns and I spent way too many hours today discussing a new imaginary movie featuring the city of Boston. Therefore, I give you:

Love is a Wicked Pissah
A "romantic" "comedy" set in Boston.

STARRING Chris Evans as Boston football quarterback Bomb Tradey and Luciana Bozán Barroso as his supermodel wife, Mindy Kaling as a doctor who botches the supermodel's botox and Jennifer Garner as the high powered New York lawyer who takes the case and ends up falling in love with Mindy Kaling during the course of the lawsuit, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as gay hockey players (but one of them's married!), Amy Poehler as a woman who's stalking the quarterback (not because she has a thing for him but because she's an amazing football mind) and Mark Wahlberg as the bodyguard who falls in love with her, John Krasinski and Seth Meyers as partners running a Southie restaurant, Julianne Moore as teh classy museum director that John Krasinski has a crush on, Rachel Dratch as the Dunkin Donuts counter girl that Seth Meyers falls in love with who convinces him not to sell the restaurant out to yuppies, and Uzo Aduba as a city council member who thinks she's being racially profiled by cops (Clark Gregg and Misha Collins, only Clark Gregg is actually racist and Misha Collins is in love with her). Also Krasinski and Meyers end up catering the epic charity ball that closes the whole thing out, at Julianne Moore's museum.

AND LOUIS CK AS HIMSELF. RECORDING A ST. PATRICK'S DAY COMEDY ALBUM.

To my Yuletide author(s)...

This is the first time I've managed to get online today and I'm only on ye olde computing type machine for a couple of minutes. Your stories (&, ee, the summaries make me so happy) are open in tabs for early morning eastern time zone reading. I can't wait and so many thanks in advance!
